Cubic Automotive Environmental Monitoring Gas Sensing Solutions
With the long-term accumulation on R&D of exhaust gas monitoring, Cubic, a leading manufacturer specializing in high-quality gas sensors and gas analyzers, has developed a total solution for automotive emission testing from OEM gas bench, exhaust gas analyzer, opacity meter, engine tachometer to engine emission measurement system and PEMS based on Cubic core gas sensing technologies including dual beam NDIR, Microflow NDIR, ultraviolet differential absorption spectroscopy (UV-DOAS), NDUV technologies.
To help reduce the nitrogen oxides (NOx) level in engine exhaust, Cubic has developed NOx sensor based on own core HTCC technology to control engine emission. The NOx sensor can be used in the closed-loop control of nitrogen oxides in the SCR system of diesel engines, or in the on-board diagnostics (OBD) of gasoline and diesel engines.
At the same time, for many drivers, fuel economy is their top concern, low fuel consumption means more mileage per liter of fuel and less carbon dioxide emissions. Cubic developed oxygen sensor based on core HTCC technology, to monitor automobile exhaust oxygen content in the electronic fuel injection system, which could help adjust the air-fuel ratio in the engine to the optimal level, to help reduce the engine’s fuel consumption and exhaust pollution.
